Jerry and I have lived on Morse Lake in central Indiana for over 30 years. We moved here from Chicago in 1976. Jerry is still working, so most of the everyday dog agendas fall to me. We started our search for a Portuguese Water Dog in 1989. I worked for my Veterinarian for over 20 years and became quite familiar with most dog breeds. We wanted an intelligent breed that would enjoy the water as much as we do so the Portuguese Water Dog became an easy choice. Bubba, our first PWD came to live with us in 1990 and that was the start of our involvement in the breed.

 We both are involved in raising and training our Water Dogs. I have finished many of our dogs in conformation, agility, obedience and water. All of our dogs have obtained the highest level water titles and we now compete in the Versatility level because they still love
the completion.


Jerry and I are both active in our regional club, Overboard PWD Club, and we are founding members. I was the President for the first 3 years, and Jerry is currently Vice-President. I am the Chairperson for the Clubs water events. I am also a Water Judge for our National Club and have been for at least 15 years. I am a past chair for the National Water Committee.  Jerry is the chief steward for our water trials and has been active in the water training here at our house for years.

This is Whoopsie, the playground supervisor of the household.Whoopsie is about six years old and is a/k/a Ch. Bayswater's What About Whoopsie CD, OA, NAJ, and CWDX. Whoopsie has produced many champion and performance titled puppies to date, with several more closing in on titles. She's a special girl who produces wonderful offspring.

Razz was born in 2004 and is best known as Ch. Bayswater's Razzle Dazzle CWDX, AX, OAJ. Razz is spayed, so one of her main roles is being our puppy trainer galore, and she teaches them how to really enjoy people, dogs, the water, and life in general.
